Mamma Mia Weekly Recipe

  

The autumn is the season of the green leaf vegetables, rich in antioxidants.
The most common are spinach and broccoli
All in Italian is suggesting a delicious recipe. Easy to prepare, heatlhy and of course...Italian!

Orecchiette Pasta con Gamberi e Broccoli* (30 minutes)

Ingredients (serves 4)

5 spoons of curry
4 spoons of olive oil
500 gr of broccoli
2 spring onions
300 gr of orecchiette pasta
100ml of cream
250 gr of precooked shrimps


How to prepare it:

1. slice the spring onions and cut the broccoli in small pieces
2. heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add the sliced spring onions
3. after a couple of minutes add the broccoli and stir
4. leave it on the fire for 5 minutes and in the meantime melt the curry power in hot water
5. add the melted curry powder and the shrimps to the broccoli and leave it to cook for 15 minutes
6. add the cream and turn it off
7. in the meantime cook the orecchiette. Once drained, add the sauce, stir well and serve
